Former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has strongly criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over what he described as “brazen and unacceptable partisanship.”

Speaking today at a world press conference alongside leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and other democrats, Kwankwaso said the actions of the electoral body threaten Nigeria’s democratic integrity.

He stressed that Nigerians must be allowed to freely choose their leaders in the 2027 elections, insisting that the electoral umpire has no right to impose a single candidacy on Africa’s largest democracy.
