The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has expelled its Kano State chairman, Hashim Suleman Dungurawa, with effect from December 30, 2025.
According to the report the reasons include inciting division within the party, poor leadership, disrespecting members and the Kano State Governor, and causing setbacks for the party.
This comes amid persistent talks that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf might defect to the APC.
Shuaibu Hassan, the NNPP chairman of Gargari Ward in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, confirmed the expulsion to BBC Hausa.+See more details
