JUST-IN: Police Arrest 22 Year Old Cultist Named Killer In Osogbo

The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a suspected cultist, Ismail Damilare aka Killer.

The Command Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi in a phone conversation with DAILY POST in Osogbo on Monday, revealed that 22 year old Damilare was arrested by police operatives in Oke-Odo area of Osogbo on Sunday.

Ojelabi also said contrary to reports making the rounds, that Damilare was not the son of Nurudeen Iyanda aka Alowonle, the Chairman of the Osun State Park Management System but one of his boys.

Ojelabi said, “It is true that Ismail Damilare was arrested in the Oke-Odo area of Osogbo yesterday but it is not true that he is the son of Nurudeen Iyanda aka Alowonle.

“From our investigation, it is clear that he is one of the boys of Alowonle.”

DAILY POST had earlier gathered that Damilare was apprehended by operatives of the Anti-Cultism Unit of the Osun State Police Command.

Damilare also confessed to his captors that he is an acquaintance of Alowonle and also disclosed that he was using the arms and ammunition to protect himself.
