JUST-IN: Police Invite Senator Lawal Adamu Usman Over Alleged Threats Against Gov. Uba Sani

The Kaduna State Police Command has invited Senator Lawal Adamu Usman (Kaduna Central) following allegations of threats to life and the making of false and damaging claims against Governor Uba Sani.

In a letter signed by the Commissioner of Police, CP Rabiu Muhammad, the lawmaker was directed to appear in person before the Commissioner at the Kaduna State Police Command headquarters on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The letter, titled “Re: Threat to Life, False and Injurious Allegations Against His Excellency Gov. Uba Sani of Kaduna State,” stated that the police had received a formal complaint from the governor through the Kaduna State Ministry of Justice.

Senator Lawal is expected to respond to the allegations during the scheduled meeting. The police assured that due process will be followed as investigations continue.
