The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 62 suspects during coordinated raids on criminal hideouts across the territory.

LeadNaija News learnt the operation was carried out on Oct. 24 at about 11:45 p.m. by operatives from various divisional commands under Zone 7, Abuja.

The divisions involved in the exercise included Gwagwalada, Bwari, Kubwa, Apo, Karmo, Life Camp, Maitama, Wuse, Mabushi, Nyanya, and Jikwoyi.

The operation targeted known black spots, criminal hideouts, and uncompleted buildings used as shelters by hoodlums.

The command said the raids led to the arrest of 62 suspects, who are currently in custody at the respective divisions for screening and interrogation.

It added that suspects found culpable would be charged to court upon completion of investigation.
