The latest incident occurred at the Ramon Yashi Graveyard in Bayan Quarters, where locals discovered a fresh but empty grave, heightening fears of ritualistic activities in the area.
A resident, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, recounted a disturbing discovery.

“We saw a dead body in the water, and when we returned to the graveyard, we found a freshly dug grave. However, it was empty, with no corpse inside,” the resident said.
The development has caused panic among the local population, with many calling on security agencies and the Borno State government to intervene.
