The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Wale Edun, on Sunday dismissed rumours about his health after making a public appearance at an official meeting in Abuja.
Reports had circulated suggesting the minister was seriously ill, but Edun appeared in good health and high spirits at Fraser Suites, where he joined the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, for a meeting with a Qatari delegation.
Officials said the discussions, which lasted over an hour, centred on strengthening economic and investment cooperation between Nigeria and Qatar.
Edun was actively engaged throughout, contributing ideas and interacting with members of the visiting team.
