Suspected gunmen have reportedly abducted two residents of Ora-Igbomina, an Osun State community located along the boundary with Kwara State, raising fresh concerns over insecurity in the area

The assailants were understood to have struck at a private residence along Aran-Orin Road, Papa area of Ora-Igbomina, a few minutes before forcefully whisking the victims away into the bush.

The latest abduction comes less than two months after a former Customs Officer, Emmanuel Owolabi, was kidnapped in the same community by suspected bandits.
