The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested a suspected agent of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Shehu Fantagi, over alleged vote-buying ahead of today’s by-elections in Kaduna State.
Fantagi was reportedly picked up on Friday evening at a hotel in Kaduna metropolis, where he was allegedly coordinating the distribution of about ₦30 million purportedly earmarked to influence voters in the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency election.
Security sources confirmed that the suspect is in custody as investigations continue.
