The Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has convened a high-level meeting to consolidate its strength ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The gathering, which brings together key party stakeholders, marks the first significant political event attended by former National Chairman of the party, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, since his resignation three months ago.
Also in attendance are Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, Senator Kawu Sumaila, members of the House of Representatives, and several former and serving political officeholders from Kano.
Although the details of the agenda remain undisclosed, party officials confirmed that a statement will be issued after the closed-door session. The meeting is expected to shape the APC’s strategy as it prepares to strengthen its foothold in Kano State and across the Northwest.
