Father in tears, mother surprises as daughter returns home after 12 years
A young lady who had been abroad for 12 years without visiting home finally returned, leaving her parents in shock as her father broke down in tears.
In a viral video shared on social media, the woman, dressed in jeans, stood by the roadside explaining that she wanted to walk into her father’s compound with cameras to capture her parents’ reaction.
When she entered the living room, her parents were seated but did not recognise her at all.
Although they exchanged pleasantries, there was no sign that they knew who had just walked into their home.
Moments later, her brother—who had planned the surprise with her—asked their mother, “mom you mean you don’t know who this is?”

The mother then looked closely before screaming in excitement. The woman quickly stood up, hugged her mother, and then embraced her father tightly.
It was an emotional moment as both father and daughter shed tears of joy.
