The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has cast his ballot at Ward 9, Polling Unit 7, Rumuepirikom, Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State.
Wike, a former Governor of Rivers State, arrived at the polling unit early and participated in the voting process alongside other residents. His presence drew attention from both political observers and residents, given his continued influence in Rivers State politics despite his current federal appointment.
Security operatives were on ground to ensure a peaceful voting process in the area.
