Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has again taken aim at the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, accusing him of corruption, electoral malpractice, and threats of violence.
In a post on his verified X handle, Sowore shared what he described as a leaked voice recording from 2016, allegedly capturing Wike threatening officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during a by-election.
According to Sowore, the tape purportedly reveals Wike intimidating INEC officers he had allegedly bribed to manipulate the electoral process in his favor.
“The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, is caught on tape here threatening to kill INEC officials he bribed to rig a by-election for him in 2016. Wike is a dedicated criminal. His day will come,” Sowore wrote.
He further alleged that Wike has a history of violence, land grabbing, and corruption, while also accusing him of making assassination threats on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
As of press time, neither Wike nor INEC has publicly responded to Sowore’s latest claims.Watch full Video Here
