Nollywood actress Damilola Oni has opened up about the disturbing level of online hara§§ment she faces, revealing that male followers frequently send her explicit messages and unsolicited images.

Speaking in an interview on Oyinmomo TV, the actress said the situation has become a daily reality, especially on social media where she is often sexalised because of her body.Full, details. .

“Early in the morning, when I open my Instagram, men will send me explicit pictures, saying ‘I am everything you need, baby,’” she said. “All sorts of messages are in my inbox, even from elderly men. Some will even say they watched me on TV and used me for self-gratification,” she stated.

She added that some go as far as making inappropriate confessions about how they engage with her content, describing the experience as deeply unsettling.

Beyond online hara§§ment, Oni also spoke about her personal life and challenges within the entertainment industry. She revealed she is currently single and believes visibility often overshadows talent in Nollywood.

“From time, the loud ones excel more than the talented. You have to spice it up to stay relevant,” she said. The actress also recounted a painful experience on a movie set, where she lost a lead role after a colleague allegedly refused to work with her.

“I was on set for over eight hours waiting, only to be told someone said they couldn’t work with me,” she shared. According to her, the producer later offered her a smaller role, which she accepted despite feeling hurt. “I won’t leave because of anyone. Nobody can send me away from this industry,” she said firmly.
