The second goal was due to a mistake by James Trafford. City were trailing by 2-0 in the first half. Marmoush had two chances to open the scoring but failed.
But Pep Guardiola’s men started the game well in the second half. Nathan Ake should have scored but was blocked by the Spurs’ defence.
Nathan Ake came close to opening the scoring. But, after that, Manchester City kept trying but failed to score and suffered a defeat in the very first game at the Etihad this season.
