Geertruida left Feyenoord with 202 first-team appearances to his name, contributing to their attacking efforts with 24 goals and 11 assists.
Since making the move to the Red Bull Arena, the 24-year-old has made 14 competitive appearances for Marco Rose’s side, chipping in with one goal and one assist.
Geertruida may be a regular fixture in the Leipzig side, but there is ultimately some uncertainty as to how long he will remain with the German club.
