A somber atmosphere has enveloped Sayidna Village in Nasarawa State following the shocking discovery of a woman and her two children dead inside their home on Tuesday morning.
The victims, whose identities have not yet been confirmed, were found unresponsive around 9:00 a.m. by concerned neighbors who immediately contacted local authorities.
Witnesses reported no visible signs of violence on the bodies. However, foam was observed around the mouth of one of the children, sparking fears of possible poisoning or suffocation.
The remains have been transported to Uke General Hospital for autopsy to establish the exact cause of death.
So far, no family members or acquaintances have come forward to identify the deceased. Locals described the family as quiet and relatively unknown in the community.
Police have launched an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the tragic deaths.
