Hama- Israel War: “What Just Happened Will Shake the Whole Nation !!— And Nobody Saw It Coming!”The Federal Government of Nigeria has expressed deep concern over the Israeli airstrike on Doha, Qatar, which reportedly targeted senior Hamas officials on September 9, 2025.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, spokesperson Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa emphasized Nigeria’s position on the sanctity of state sovereignty and adherence to international law, particularly regarding the cross-border use of force.

The government noted that the attack poses serious implications for regional stability and undermines ongoing diplomatic efforts to address the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“Nigeria underscores the primacy of respecting the sovereignty of all nations and adhering to international law,” the statement read. “This development raises serious questions about regional stability and the prospects for ongoing diplomatic efforts.”

The statement further acknowledged Qatar’s longstanding role as a mediator in the Middle East peace process and urged all parties involved to exercise maximum restraint, avoid escalation, and recommit to dialogue.

Nigeria extended its sympathies to victims of the strike and reiterated support for initiatives that promote de-escalation and lasting peace.
