Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has refuted recent claims by American television host Bill Maher and Radio Genoa suggesting that 500,000 Christians were killed by Muslims in Nigeria within the past year.
In a statement shared via his official X handle on Sunday, Fani-Kayode described the allegation as “false disinformation pushed out by Jewish-controlled media in America as payback for Nigeria’s strong stance against the Gaza genocide.”
He argued that the report was aimed at sowing religious division in the country, maligning Nigeria internationally, and creating grounds for potential U.S. sanctions.
“Nigeria is not Palestine and neither are we cowards. We cannot be divided, intimidated, bullied, destroyed or subjected to the same treatment as Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq or Gaza,” he wrote.
Fani-Kayode stressed that terrorist groups operating within Nigeria attack both Muslims and Christians indiscriminately, and that the ongoing battle is “not a Christian versus Muslim war but rather a terrorist versus the Nigerian people war.”
He further declared confidence in the Nigerian Armed Forces and intelligence agencies, praising their efforts in confronting terrorists across the country.
“The American media and their Zionist backers may tell their dirty lies but we will counter them with the sword of truth. Our country and our people shall not fail, we shall not fall and we shall not be ashamed!”If You’re Reading From Phoenix Click On Read Original at the top To Read Full Article
