Nigerian businessman Cubana Chief Priest has spoken on challenges in the country’s healthcare system after visiting hospitals in Lagos.

In a post on Monday, he shared his frustrating experience at a hospital in Ikoyi, where he reportedly waited for more than an hour without being attended to by a doctor.

Chief Priest also visited another hospital in Lekki, where he encountered long online forms before being able to see a doctor.

The businessman described the situation as disappointing and expressed concern over the quality and accessibility of healthcare in Nigeria.

He wrote on his Instagram story: “Honestly health care is a joke in this country. Walked into a hospital I have been using in this Ikoyi for years. After vitals it’s over an hour plus & no doctor is available. I no wan post the hospital because I understand what business is all about.

“I went to another one in Lekki and I have to fill a long form online to see a doctor. Well I don go med plus go buy medication for typhoid and malaria if I reach UK make I do proper health care there it’s a shame sha, na God dey save person for this country.”
