According to Manchesterevening News, Three of Manchester United’s February matches have been rescheduled due to their involvement in the Europa League and selections for live television coverage.
Originally set for Saturday, February 1, United’s home game against Crystal Palace has been moved to Sunday, February 2, with kickoff at 2 PM.
Two weeks later, United will travel to face Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. That match, initially scheduled for Saturday, February 15, will now take place on Sunday, February 16, with a 4:30 PM kickoff. It will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Lastly, United’s clash with Everton, previously slated for 3 PM on Saturday, February 22, has been moved to an earlier 12:30 PM kickoff to accommodate live coverage on TNT Sports. However, the fixture could shift again to Sunday if United are involved in midweek Europa League action.
Manager Ruben Amorim will aim to improve United’s league standing before these fixtures. The team currently sits 13th in the Premier League following consecutive defeats to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
United’s recent 4-0 win against Everton provided a brief boost, but Saturday’s loss to Forest marked their sixth defeat in 15 league games, leaving them with a modest goal difference of +1.
