Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Approves Appointment of 32 Permanent Secretaries, Confirms Key Statutory Officers

The Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the confirmation and appointment of 32 officers as Permanent Secretaries in the Ondo State Civil Service.

The approval was contained in an official statement issued on February 9, 2026, by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

According to the statement, the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:

Statutory Appointments Confirmed
In addition, Governor Aiyedatiwa approved the confirmation of officers into key statutory positions:

Olusola Sunday Ajayi as Statistician-General of Ondo State

Dr Charles Tunde Ojuolape as Auditor-General for Local Governments, subject to clearance by the Ondo State House of Assembly

The confirmations and appointments take effect from February 1, 2026.

The governor also announced that the swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed officers will be held on a date to be communicated later.

The appointments are part of the administration’s efforts to strengthen public service leadership, improve efficiency, and enhance service delivery across the state.
