The Ooni of Ife, Oba enitan Adeyeye ogunwusi and the council of yoruba traditional rulers have thrown their weight behind the proposed reserved seats for women, assuring Nigerian women of their resolve to spread the crusade to political actors in their domains.

The assurance was given during the meeting of the ooni of ife & the southwest legislators on the special seats bill advocacy championed by the national institute for legislative and democratic studies (NILDS).
