Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have arrested a suspected kidnapper in Sakaba Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
A security source disclosed that the suspect was apprehended at about 5:39 p.m. on March 28 by troops deployed at a Forward Operating Base in Dankolo.
According to the source, the suspect was arrested during ongoing operations aimed at curbing criminal activities in the area.
“The suspect is currently in troops’ custody for further investigation and necessary action,” the source said.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the military to sustaining offensive operations against kidnapping and other criminal activities across Kebbi and the wider North-West region.
The source added that troops remain vigilant and focused on ensuring the safety of lives and property. r and one passenger, while four other passengers fled into the bush but later safely returned.
