Several chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State on Tuesday defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The defection was confirmed in a statement signed by Abosede Oluwaseun, Publicity and Organizing Secretary of the Omoluabi Progressives, a political movement backed by former Osun State governor and current APC National Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola.
The new members were formally received at Oranmiyan House in Osogbo.
Leading the group was Tunji Ogunrinu, former Vice Chairman of Ayedire Local Council Development Area under the PDP. He attributed their exit to the PDP’s failure to recognize loyal members and Continue..Reading..
