A group of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters on Tuesday staged a rally outside the venue of the party’s 102nd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja.
The supporters, armed with flags and posters, openly promoted Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, as their preferred presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.
Chanting solidarity songs, they urged the party leadership to consider Makinde, describing him as “the fresh face of hope and unity” for Nigeria.
