A Nigerian woman has cried out after being attacked by four men who beat her, stole her phone, and withdrew all the money from her bank account shortly after she stepped out of her house.
The incident was revealed in a post shared on the popular social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
The victim, @fabiyi_abosede, posted images showing the injuries on her face following the brutal attack.
According to her statement, she was on her way to deliver some perfume orders when the men unexpectedly ambushed her.
She said, “Yesterday, I was robbed and battered by four men. All I did wrong was leaving my house to look for my daily bread. All the money in my account was withdrawn, my phone taken, and the perfume orders I was to send out at daybreak were stolen.”
She added, “It breaks my heart that people are wicked.”
