The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has withdrawn a corps member, Oyaje Daniel, from his Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) at Judeen International School, Annex Section, Mando, Kaduna, following a viral online comment he made about teenage female students.
Daniel, who is serving in Igabi Local Government Area, was immediately summoned by the NYSC State Disciplinary Committee after the comment sparked public outrage. He appeared before the committee in company of his CDS president, the Alumni President of his college, Comrade Philip Ayuba Bobai, and activist John Adesogan, at the NYSC Kaduna Headquarters.

According to those present, Daniel appeared sober, remorseful and visibly shaken by the incident and the public attention it generated.
NYSC officials said several disciplinary actions have been taken against him pending the conclusion of investigations. He has been withdrawn from his school posting and redeployed to the NYSC state headquarters, where he will serve under strict supervision for the remainder of his service year.
Although accommodation is available at the NYSC office, Daniel will not be allowed to reside there and must report to duty on a daily basis.
An investigative team has also been dispatched to his former PPA to verify whether his conduct at the school aligned with the troubling social media comment.

NYSC said that should the panel uncover any additional wrongdoing, the matter would be escalated to relevant security and regulatory authorities.
The Corps further disclosed that other corps members who made similar inappropriate comments under the viral post have been identified and are also being monitored for possible disciplinary action.
