The police force of Abuja has arrested about 50 people suspected of theft in the capital of Nigeria Abuja.
The suspects were arrested after troops attacked Panteker Market in Kabusa on Sunday, 5 January, 2025.
According to the troops, 50 people were identified in alleged robbery involving underwater potholes in Abuja, approximately twenty five cars, and street lanterns that were destroyed, bars said.
They were used in building bridges, other materials used in demolishing government buildings, and many other materials from various areas of panteka in Kabusa, Garki, Mabushi and Wuse.
“These messengers are putting public lives at risk due to the removal of those used to shut down the rails, causing accidents on roads and roads and disrupting public resources,” the army said.
