The England international limped off early in last weekend’s dramatic derby win over Manchester City.
Mount has made just 32 appearances for Man United in nearly 18 months since joining the club from Chelsea.
Man United manager Ruben Amorim has already confirmed that Mount is now facing “several weeks” on the sidelines again.
However, Mount took to his Instagram on Friday night to send a message to United fans, as he vowed he won’t give up or lose faith.
The 25-year-old posted: “Words can’t portray how devastated I’m feeling right now, you could probably see the look on my face when it happened. I knew what it meant.
