In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu lauded the students’ exceptional performance in English language communication and debate, describing them as “beacons of hope” and “symbols of Nigeria’s intellectual strength.”
According to the statement:

President Tinubu commended their dedication and brilliance, stating:

He also praised their schools and the broader education sector, noting that such international recognitions reflect the potential within Nigeria’s educational system.
Reiterating his administration’s commitment to educational advancement, Tinubu highlighted the importance of ongoing reforms and investments in the sector, including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), aimed at removing financial obstacles for underprivileged students seeking higher education.
The President urged the trio to remain focused in their academic pursuits and expressed confidence in their future contributions to national development.
“You are the pride of Nigeria. Stay committed, and the sky will not be your limit—it will be your starting point,” Tinubu said.
