The leadership of Enugu Youth Coalition has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the ambassadorial nomination of the former Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi.
In a statement released to newsmen in Enugu on Sunday by the National Coordinator of the group, Dr. Edwin Obune, the coalition said Ugwuanyi’s choice is highly welcomed because he is a consummate diplomat and politician who knows how to promote peace through diplomatic engagements; having demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in building bridges and promoting peace and harmony in the state and it’s environment during his tenor as governor.
Undoubtedly, Ugwuanyi knows how to promote and defend Nigeria’s national interest in foreign land without causing diplomatic row.
We commend Mr. President for finding our illustrious son worthy of being nominated as one of the would-be Nigerian envoys in a foreign land.
Mr. President has once again demonstrated his genuine love for the state through this nomination and we truly appreciate him for the kind gesture.
We will continue to mobilise supports for his government until the Renewed Hope Agenda gets to every nook and crany of the country.
