Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes has criticized manager Ruben Amorim for his treatment of midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.

Scholes, who suggested he wants to see Mainoo leave Man United, admitted he hated seeing home grown players leave the Red Devils.

This comes after Amorim spoke to the media earlier this week, insisting he sees Mainoo as a player capable of starting, but backed Casemiro to start ahead of the England youngster.

However, Scholes shared Amorim’s comments on his Instagram story and hit out at the Portuguese.

The kid is being ruined, not being played in a team that can’t control a game of football,” Scholes said.
