Residents of Abo-Asakin community have arrested three suspected herdsmen at Abo-Asakin community in Akure North Local Government area of Ondo State over what community leaders described as suspicious movements amid rising cases of kidnapping in the area.

Speaking on behalf of the community monarch, the Asakin of Abo-Asakin, Oba (Dr.) Adebayo Sunday, the community secretary, Mr. Gold Babatunde said the suspects were apprehended by residents who became wary of their movements following recent security threats in the community.

Mr. Babatunde explained that the arrest was carried out as part of local efforts to safeguard lives and property, noting that vigilance had become necessary due to the spate of kidnappings reported in and around the area.Get The FullDetails. .
