Panic has gripped residents of Zango Biyu community in Rimin Gado Local Government Area of Kano State after two children were gruesomely killed in separate incidents over the weekend.
The first victim, Muhammad Gambo, a five-year-old boy, was found dead around 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Witnesses told DAILY POST that the boy had been sent by his mother to buy powder worth ₦50 at a local shop. The shopkeeper, however, turned him back because the money was insufficient. Instead of returning home, he headed towards his grandparents’ house but was attacked along the way.
A community member, Laminu Ahmad, narrated the chilling scene.
“His mother sent him to buy powder with ₦50, but the shopkeeper said the money was not enough and sent him back. Instead of going home, he went towards his grandparents’ house. On the way, some wicked people stopped him and slaughtered him like.. . Continue..Reading. .
