National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has restated President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to improving the security challenge bedevilling the country as well as to lay a concrete foundation for economic prosperity.
This was contained in a statement made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
The statement stated that Ribadu stated this when he hosted an Iftar dinner for top Adamawa federal government appointees and elected officials in Abuja during the sacred month of Ramadan, which was attended by over 50 prominent figures.
The attendees included Minister of Livestock Development, Hon. Mukhtar Idi Maiha; Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Finance, Mrs. Lydia Shehu Jafiya; and Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Prof. Isa Chiroma.Nigerian food
Addressing the delegation, the NSA emphasised the importance of collaboration in governance, reassuring them of his support in advancing security and development initiatives in Adamawa and beyond.
He also reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to strengthening national security and economic prosperity.
Ribadu said, “I remain dedicated to supporting Adamawa State’s development, and I assure you of the President’s resolve to enhance governance and improve the welfare of all Nigerians.“
Speaking during the occasion, the APC National Vice Chairman, North-East, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, PhD, who led the delegation for the Unity Iftar; described the Iftar as a vital step towards fostering collaboration and bridging political and governance gaps among Adamawa’s elected and appointed officials.
