Amid swirling speculation about his future, Sporting CP manager Rúben Amorim has made a firm declaration about his position at the club, stating emphatically that he has no intention of stepping down.
In a press briefing, Amorim said:
“I will not quit. I am confident in my job and I will not change anything. If the board or fans feel that I’m not the right guy, I will go the next day without any conversation about compensation… but I will NOT quit.”
