Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has publicly accused Queen Dami, widow of the late Alaafin of Oyo, of denying their alleged relationship despite what he claims was a prior reconciliation.
In a series of emotional posts, the singer alleged that Queen Dami collected money from him, claiming he rented an apartment and opened a shop for her, only for her to later shut down the business and relocate to Lekki.
“I am being cheated. She collected money from me and left. I rented house and opened a shop for her… Later she came back to beg me. I accepted her back and we continued. Should I lie to my fans about us? You denied me. I had evidence and videos of you coming to my bar. Now she’s saying I don’t exist. Justice for me,” Portable stated.
According to him, Queen Dami denied knowing him during a live social media session with influencer Salo, a claim he described as false and hurtful.
He insisted that they had reconciled and had been together privately, questioning why she would publicly disassociate herself from him.
Queen Dami Files Police Petition
Reacting to the allegations, Queen Dami disclosed that she has petitioned the police through her legal counsel, alleging that Portable poses a threat to her safety and has been blackmailing her.
She maintained that her actions were taken in the interest of her personal security and dignity.
As of the time of filing this report, law enforcement authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the petition or any ongoing investigation.
The unfolding dispute has sparked widespread reactions on social media, drawing attention to issues of privacy, reputation, and public accusations among high-profile figures.
