The lawmaker representing Yakurr State Constituency, Cyril Omini, has confirmed that the young man, Bassey Ubi, who killed his father last Sunday, was under the strong influence of drugs.
He made this known on Wednesday on the floor of the House during a plenary session.
He called on the State Security Adviser, Major Gen Ubi (rtd), to intensify efforts to rid the state of drugs.
