Activist and publisher, Omoyele Sowore, has once again launched a scathing attack on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, accusing him of corruption, theft of public funds, and hypocrisy.

Reacting to Wike’s recent remarks that he and Sowore were “lucky to have a law-abiding president” despite Sowore calling President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a criminal, Sowore took to his verified X handle to berate the minister.

He alleged that Wike diverted funds meant for the poor to purchase a $2 million mansion in Florida, USA, for his children, using his wife’s name to conceal ownership.

“For the thief, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, who stole money meant for the poor to buy a $2 million mansion for his children in Florida but never checked how things work there, let this be a lesson. In the USA, presidents can be called out however citizens choose, judges are not pocketed, and presidents must live by the rule of law,” Sowore wrote.

The activist further warned Wike that through his alleged corrupt dealings, he had exposed himself to international legal scrutiny.

“Through your corruption and public theft of resources, you have now created a new jurisdiction, Florida, where the crimes you commit in Nigeria can be tried,” he added.

Sowore referenced a recent U.S. court ruling where a judge dismissed former President Donald Trump’s $15 billion lawsuit against the New York Times, stressing that accountability is enforced under American law.
