Suspected Boko Haram Kidnapped 18-year-old Boy In Adamawa As Troops Launch Rescue Mission

Armed men suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists have abducted an 18-year-old boy, Azura Ayuba, in Kopre village, Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

According to Zagazola Makama, the incident occurred on Thursday when Ayuba and another boy, Augustine (17), went into the bush around 1:25 p.m. to fetch firewood. They were confronted by about 20 insurgents. Augustine narrowly escaped, but Ayuba was taken captive.

Following the report, troops of Operation Hadin Kai and members of the Civilian JTF launched a joint manhunt to track the terrorists and rescue the victim.
