A man reportedly shouting “Allahu Akbar” caused panic at a Swiss train station on Thursday morning after attacking three people in front of schoolchildren in what authorities later described as a “heinous act of terrorism.”
According to Zurich Cantonal Police, the suspect, a 31-year-old Turkish-Swiss citizen, carried out the attack shortly after 8:30 a.m. at the Winterthur train station near Zurich.
