Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani made surprise appearance at the House of Representatives today as three federal lawmakers from Kaduna State formally defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) during plenary.
The lawmakers who announced their defection on the floor of the Green Chamber are:
1. Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi (Ikara/Kubau Federal Constituency)
2. Hon. Abdulkareem Ahmed (Kaduna South Federal Constituency)
3. Hon. Sadiq Abdullahi (Sabon Gari Federal Constituency)
Their defection was received with applause from APC members, signaling yet another round of political realignment in the North ahead of the 2027 elections.
Governor Uba Sani’s presence at the session has further fueled speculation of a coordinated effort to consolidate Kaduna’s political bloc under the ruling APC.
