Tinubu’s Aide, APC to Host Progressive Digital Media Summit in August

The Office of the Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Social Media, in partnership with the All Progressives Congress (APC), is set to host the Progressive Digital Media Summit on August 1st and 2nd, 2025.

According to a statement released on Monday, the two-day summit will focus on the theme:
Unveiling the Critical Role of New Media in National Development with a Focus on the Renewed Hope Agenda.”

The event aims to serve as a forum for progressive digital media stakeholders across Nigeria and the diaspora to engage in constructive dialogue on the growing influence of new media in governance and nation-building.

Organisers say the summit will highlight how digital communication tools are shaping public policy, driving civic engagement, and supporting the implementation of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The objective is to foster collaboration and innovation among digital content creators, influencers, strategists, and policymakers to enhance national development using the power of social media and digital platforms,” the statement added.

Key speakers and panelists are expected to include government officials, technology experts, media practitioners, and prominent voices in Nigeria’s online political space.

Details on venue, registration, and agenda are expected to be released in the coming days.
