Tragedy struck in the Lakowe area of Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, as a popular skit maker and hairstylist, identified simply as Austin, was brutally murdered by suspected cultists.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, August 14, when the armed men reportedly stormed his residence. Eyewitnesses said the assailants dragged him out of his room before hacking him to death.
One resident recounted that Austin’s hand was also severed during the attack.
