A tragic incident has unfolded in the Agadem oil zone of Niger Republic, where four young men from the Toubou community were reportedly executed by elements of the Nigerien army, raising concerns over alleged human rights violations.
Eyewitness accounts and reports from local residents indicate that two of the victims were tied up and shot at close range, pointing to what has been described as a deliberate execution. The victims have been identified as:
