Tottenham Hotspur may be preparing to back their manager, Thomas Frank, and shake up the summer transfer market again following the sacking of Ange Postecoglu.
After signing winger Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, Kevin Danso permanently from Lens and Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich.
But this time, they are turning their attention to a player currently under the spotlight in Germany after completing an impressive season.
With a new project taking place and shape in London, the club has identified a need for more creativity in midfield, and discussions have already been underway behind the scenes.
As we saw with the club targeting Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs White but Forest blocked the transfer.
The London based side are no strangers to bold moves, but this particular target signals a move in the correct direction under new manager Frank.
Instead of looking at other stand out players in the Premier League like they did with Gibbs White they have started exploring elsewhere and they are doing so with intent.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Spurs have entered the race with Spanish side Atletico Madrid for Enzo Millot.
This transfer could be proved to be difficult for both sides with 23 year old holding a £20 million release clause and the player having a contract at the German side until June 2028.
But VfB Stuttgart may decide to cash in now whilst they hold interest for the midfielder and so they can get the best possible deal for the star.
However, either club will be gaining a creative player for the middle of the park with the Frenchmen scoring 6 goals and assisting 5 times in the Bundesliga last season within 29 matches. Whilst being in a side that was struggling.
