Barnabas signed a one-year contract with the option of another year.
The 25-year-old striker has been unveiled by his new club.
Barnabas joins Bugesera FC with a record of 11 goals in 65 appearances in the NPFL.
His arrival increased the numbers of Nigerians at the club to two with Elijah Ani already a key member of the squad.
Barnabas previously played for Rivers United, Plateau United and Kwara United.
