Manchester City have made a great start to their Premier League campaign. They decimated Wolves at Molineux by 4-0 to get all three points and move to the top of the Premier League table.
But Pep Guardiola’s men are also doing their work behind the scenes to get new players in and sell the ones who don’t want to stay at the club.
With Savinho getting interest from Tottenham Hotspur and the player showing interest to join them, the Citizens are working on finding a replacement.
Pep Guardiola already demanded the signing of Rodrygo in case Savinho leaves the club. But the Brazilian is not the only player who is looking for a move away from the Etihad.
His compatriot, Ederson, is also on the same track of leaving Manchester City this summer. That is why the Citizens are eyeing a new goalkeeper even after re-signing James Trafford.
The Burnley goalkeeper also made his debut in Manchester City’s first Premier League game of the season.
Now, City want to sell Ederson to make way for Gianluigi Donnarumma, another dream signing that Pep Guardiola wants, along with Rodrygo.
Ederson is close to joining the Turkish giants, Galatasaray, who made a bid of €10 million. Manchester City immediately rejected that bid.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City and Galatasaray are still negotiating the fee, with the Citizens eyeing an amount of around €25million.
With Ederson eager to sign for the Turkish giants and Pep Guardiola ready to let the player leave, both clubs are talking positively to find a solution and agree on a fee.
