AS Roma are advancing discussions to sign Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey, with further meetings planned with the player’s representatives in the coming days.
Club sources stress that Bailey is not an alternative to Jadon Sancho, as Roma are pursuing both deals in parallel.
Meanwhile, Turkish side Besiktas are not in active negotiations for Bailey, having only made preliminary enquiries about the terms of a potential deal last week.
